Corporate History

1940-1960’s

1948 January	베트맨 토토 Kenzai Co., Ltd. founded in Sumiyoshi-cho, Yokkaichi-shi, as a subcontractor for Onoda Cement Co., Ltd. with an initial capital of 198,000 yen. Company begins the manufacture of roofing slates.
1955년 April	Company commissioned gypsum board manufacturing plant, and initiates production and sales.
1957년 4월	Company name changed to 베트맨 토토 Building Materials Industry Co. Ltd.
1965 January	Construction complete at Atsugi Plant.

1970s

1970 July	Kaizuka Plant commissioned.
1975 May	New Yokkaichi Plant begins operation.
1979 April	Construction completed for new nead office building at Yokkaichi Plant.

1980s

1986 May	Construction completed at Chiba Plant.
1988 June	Tomihisa Hirata nominated as chairman, and Koichi Hirata nominated as company president.

1990s

1990 June	Company name changed to 베트맨 토토 Co. Ltd.
1990년 October	Registered with the Securities Dealers Association of Japan as over-the-counter stocks.
1995 June	Haruhisa Hirata nominated as company president.
1997 February	Construction completed at Okayama Plant.
1997 March	IS9001 certification obtained (registered scope of supply: design, development, and production of various gypsum boards and their installation materials).
1998 January	50thanniversary
1999 March	Company took over gypsum board operations from three firms in Adlar Group.

2000s

2004 November	Construction completed at Muroran Plant.
2004년 December	Listed on JASDAQ Securities Exchange.
2006년 4월	Alliance of business and capital with German Knauf group.
2008 January	60thanniversary of company founding. In Yokkaichi Plant, opened a headquarters training center.

2010s

2010년 August	Kaizuka Plant training center completed.

2016 March	Promote Tokyo Branch Office to Tokyo Regional Office.
